smells of the outdated library ornamented me after i entered. I could smell the passage of time in there, wherever dusty solid wood shelves housed thousands of catalogs. A hundred-year old door creaked behind me and shut with nary a sound. The silence that greeted myself inside the damp room jogged my memory that this was my haven, the place where I actually felt the majority of alive and at home. Sure, I loved playing sports activities and viewing movies and television and playing games. Yet at age eight, the thing We loved to perform most was read. We headed right for my favorite section: the young mature mystery works of fiction. I perused the book jackets one-by-one to find one which I had but to read.
