Education is one of the leading problems inside the black community. Though presently there have many reforms in education over the years, racial injustices remain in existence because no attention in placed on how legislature affects people of color. I was raised in a middle-class group of educators. My entire life I’ve been told to stay at school, get an education, and work hard so that you can beat the system.

Recognizing the structural makes in my life has helped me understand my put in place society. Until I attended Loyola I had a naive impression of ethnicity awareness. In person, I believe education is the key to combating racism. We must education our peers on our cultures. We should explain that colorblindness in society is definitely not what’s best.

I have a chance to challenge and change other people’s ideologies and understand my. I know because of my sociable position have got scholarships, financial aide as well as the values of hard work and education instilled in me personally by mother and father and grandparents. I’m likewise aware that many people are not able to gain that same access.
