Importance of Appearance Essay

Persons say presence is not important, but even the many honored and noble people put presence before various other attributes of a person.

As societies have been completely established, and in many cases before, society has place on a great amount of importance on overall look. The amount of importance is shown in the book Frankenstein, the film, in addition to real life. My personal first case from the novel is from chapter eleven, when the monster arrived at the village and encountered human beings. As the creature tries to enter the cottage, he explains that, the children screamed and one of the ladies fainted. The entire village was roused.

A few fled, several attacked myself. I was terribly bruised by stones and many more kinds of missile weapons. The affirmation shows that the creature was immediately evaluated by the villagers solely on appearance, there were no possibility given to even let the monster explain his purpose or perhaps actions. If perhaps appearance didn’t have this sort of a great amount of importance on it, the creature wouldn’t be attacked, and even his fate would be different.

My second case in point is through the film when the creature 1st encountered humans other than his own founder before the monster ran apart. As the creature required a loaf of breads off a food trolley, the people thought it was just a frequent thief inside the town plus they chased him down and tried to capture him. But as soon as they saw the creature’s horrid face, they became more aggressive out of fear and tried to kill him. My last example is usually from the actual, where the volume of physical appearance on some thing or somebody matters, rather than a fiction novel, and shows how much importance we place on appearance within our society.
