These types of firms are described in the following ways. (1) Active Agencies: Active organizations are individuals where equally educator and educed will be active participants.

The actions and reactions are kept entertained. The school, residence, family are believed as the active organizations of education. Learning can be described as two-way method. Interaction is lively. (2) Passive firms: Passive agencies are those which influence the learners but they are not influenced in return. The teaching-learning procedure is one way.

These types of create general public opinion and public control. If the leaner is interested he may master. Radio, TELEVISION SET, press, Collection are the instances of passive companies. (3) Formal agencies: Formal agencies will be more or fewer deliberately set up by the society. It has particular objectives, subjects, examination system, etc . These are formal because they are pre-planned. The place and period are set.

School, school, university are the examples of formal agencies of education. (4) Informal firms: There are agencies which increase up spontaneously and also break down in the same way. They observe zero formalities. They indirectly provide education. In the event one is interested one can master. They contain family, world, playground, professional organizations, youngsters activity groupings, etc . (5) Non-formal companies: It is the recent concept employed in India.
