Discoveries of Scientists from the Age of ReasonThe discoveries of countless scientist and great thinkers of the Associated with

Reason have all contributed to the complete scope showing how we look at astronomy

today. The shift was of a less luxurious thesis to 1 based on humanism and

the Scientific Approach. There were many great thinkers that triggered this

finding on the medical level, which in turn chiefly commenced and ended with the

astronomers/scientists Copernicus and Isaac Newton.

Copernicus was a mathematician and a scientist to whom found the

stars amazing. He did, however , find a great flaw with the

statistical results of the universe as being a Earth- centered one. Then he

saw that if the galaxy was to include the sun (an error upon

Copernicuss component only each of our solar system revolves around the Earth not really

the whole world! ) then all of his mathematical formulas would be

aesthetic. Hence, he made up the theory, which will led to wonderful controversial

book On the Revolutions of Heavenly Spheres where the church was

greatly angered. While Copernicuss book was not a revolutionary publication, it

was, however , a catalyst for making other heads ponder the new Heliocentric

theory.

After Copernicuss death there were three additional scientists which in turn

helped credit rating the Heliocentric theory. Tycho Brahe was your first, he

played with the concept the planets all revolved around the sun, nevertheless the

sun instead revolved throughout the Earth(still Geocentric). After Brahes

death Johannes Kepler took the remarks and data that Brahe had used. Kepler

created the idea the it would be much more mathematically plausible

that the orbits of the planets around the sun (Heliocentric) were

oblong, instead of round and published the book On the motion of

Mars the problem was unfortunately that this could not become proved. The

most important of these three researchers was Galileo Galilei, which looked

away his telescope one night time and saw something incredibly dangerous for the church.

This individual saw the Jupiter had a moon which will orbited that. This meant big difficulty

because it demonstrated that anything did not include the Earth

contradicting the church. Galileo was bitten and forced to reject this

evidence the rest of his life.

The final wonderful thinker of times was Isaac Newton, to whom ended up

resolving all the concerns of the astronomers previously. Newton (Thanks to

an apple slipping on his mind just kidding! ) created the theory of

Gravity and lots of laws of science and Physics which will now function as the

basis of all we study today. Newton theories intelligently discussed the

concepts and how come the planets in our solar-system revolve around direct sunlight, and

likewise why there are elliptical orbits.

The great achievements of the scientists whom disproved the Geocentric

theory of the universe, contradicting the churchs strong scholastism, ave

turned out to be one of the greatest instances of courage and truly applying

scientific approach. The entire composition of our humanism and the

marriage with the whole world changed permanently. Hopefully now that you know

our place in the whole world, we can work on fixing a few of the problems again

here on Globe!
