In chapter V of The Second Treatise of Government by David Locke, he begins simply by explaining that God offers given globe to all gentleman in “common”. Meaning everybody equally owns all of the the planet and its fruits. How can we humans, fairly distribute this kind of land? What gives one particular man the right to a deer over almost every other person on earth? Labor, Locke states “The labor that was mine removing all of them out of the common state they were in, hath set my house in them”(13).

This meaning that once putting work and physical labor into some sort of terrain or dog, it is in that case yours to possess out of the prevalent land. Greed is a very strong thing of course, if we let man to own all terrain in which he works in, what is to stop him via abusing that to receive souple? There wouldn’t be a ought to spoil the land to get riches, if perhaps gold didn’t have this kind of a high benefit in culture. By us as a society agreeing blindly to give gold these kinds of high value, we now have changed many ways of existence from planning to obtain cattle, land, and natural goods.
