Quite simply, people named Creators put a bunch of males whose memories were removed into a Web in Book One of The Web Runner series. Thomas, the protagonist, was one of the last ones to get put in the Maze, along with a girl named Teresa, the only woman, and thats when points got peculiar. Lots of shenanigans went down, but the boys at some point found out how to escape. After they escaped, these were rescued by some sort of rebel group, and then they had been brought to a safe haven in which they may sleep, and stuff like that.

The Scorch Trials opens with the boys we call all of them Gladers bleary their dormitories having a grand old puzzling time, if a new some thing bad happens. Crazy people outside theyre called Churns start shouting, so the boys all race into Teresas room to verify if shes alright. On the way, that they find a bunch of dead systems hanging from your ceiling of the hallway. In that case, when the males get to Teresas room, that they find that shes gone, boys named Aris is in her room instead.

No one knows what is going on, and when the kids get back to the hallway, it turns out that the deceased bodies are generally gone. Later on, a random man just appears inside the central room of the dormitories. He is located in a couch and says a book, and hes also protected with a force field. Eventually, this individual breaks his silence and tells the boys what is going on. Hes part of WICKED, and the details is that the boys are all gonna be put in a trial. By 6 a. m., theyll need to go by using a Flat Trans, whatever that is certainly and then enter the Scorch, wherever theyll have to reach the safe haven in exactly two weeks time. Another morning, the youngsters all have the Flat Trans. Its a dark portal thingy, and bad stuff happens inside. A few kids get their mind sliced faraway from metal ball things, but eventually, the majority of them reach lack of. Meanwhile, Thomas tries telepathically to reach Teresa, but she isnt answering, which is very alarming. When the boys quit the Flat Trans, they will walk out in to the Scorch, which is pretty much a wasteland with severe heat. Up ahead is actually a city filled up with Cranks, and ahead of the town is a hill range. The boys need to make that past the pile range.

The young boys make their trek to the city, but bad weather hits and blows a few of them to parts. When the boys reach the town, they come across a Turn dude named Jorge, who have claims hes the leader of the Cranks. This individual wants to kill Minho so much, but Jones talks him out of it. Actually Thomas talks Jorge into helping the youngsters, as their safe haven supposedly gets the cure to get the Flare, the disease that all of the Cranks have. By the way, the kids every have the Surface, too”it merely hasnt influenced their brains yet. Jorge starts to business lead the young boys toward the mountain with another Turn named Brenda, whos very smart. Regrettably, Thomas and Brenda get separated from the rest throughout a Crank strike.
