Capitalism, in its initial sense, is an economic term, that identifies an economic system where authorities has no control and interference in the economic activity as well as the allocation of resources, and the decision making is done by private sector. In contrast to a capitalistic system, there exists a socialist system where entire making decisions is done by the government sector and private individuals have no possession and/or control. While the existing economic system in the contemporary globe today much more of a crossbreed system, that may be it has qualities of both equally a capitalist and socialist system, however , in most countries including the United States of America, the system is far more tilted on the capitalistic qualities.

While the term Capitalist system was first introduced to refer to an economic system, as the science of economics produced, the world advanced, and as the interrelationship and interdependence of society and economics got more prestigious, Capitalism and socialism also took a socio social meaning. It must however be noticed, that these socio cultural changes and developments are thought to be triggered because of the applicable economic conditions and developments.

The United States of America happens to be a highly capitalistic economy coming from day one. During time, the liberties to decision making and ownership and control induced a massive interpersonal evolution in USA, that resulted in disappearance of old-fashioned boundaries and as a result, the American society be liberal, understanding, acceptable and welcoming towards any fresh change that came their way (Shelden, Tracy and Darkish, 2004). As believed by most sociologists and asociado economic advocates, the primary cause of such a very good socio social change was the strong power of commercialism a capitalistic system allowed. Although this capitalistic system might have played an important role in the world’s monetary and technological progress, various theorists are of the view that capitalism incurs big social costs.

This new trend of protections and mass media exposure provided rise to ‘unsupervised’ well-known culture, often known as ‘pop culture’. Be it media houses, entertainment industry or perhaps corporate homes, youth continued to be the primary potential audience of all key capitalistic stakeholders, as it was one technology which was raised to witness the financial and sociable evolution to freedom. Underneath this popular culture, famous people such as rock stars, film actors, athletics persons, and super designs became the icons intended for the youth, who they will follow nearly religiously (Rodrigues, 1993).
