Personal Experience

From building our cities, homes and railways, to famous ancient monuments and skyscrapers, quantity surveyors are the keystone to the building industry and make a positive impact on the globe we are in. As a 2: 1 Psychology graduate which has a keen involvement in international development, I noticed the importance of the solid system and became passionate about finding eco friendly ways to present economic, social and environmental value to new developments around the world. Therefore, I believe studying a Master’s in Variety Surveying will provide me with all the specialist skills required to satisfy my goal.

My own interest in Amount Surveying peaked during university when I made an Enactus project known as ‘She Inspires’. The job supported youthful street ladies in building profitable businesses through the vocational training they will acquired. As the team business lead, I was accountable for managing the development costs and maintaining good contractual relationships with external stakeholders. This kind of gave me the chance to make use of my excellent conditional and negotiation skills, and, pull on my numerical intellect of which We acquired through studying A Level Mathematics and Statistics intended for Psychology. As university, I’ve gained 4 years of knowledge in Facilities and at the moment work as the Senior Facilities Coordinator for a big info company.
