A., 2007). By contrast Attribute theory is usually “the way of measuring of regular patterns of habit within an individual’s behavior, thoughts, and emotions (“Trait Theory, 2013). While they are both methods of understanding human behavior the way which the different hypotheses attempt to appreciate human behavior differ significantly.

The Psychodynamic theory uses a put yourself in their shoes sort of understanding as the Trait theory is design based and relies on info gathered simply by observing patterns. Understanding human being behavior is a thing that is extremely challenging. The Characteristic theory is definitely “based on the stability of traits with time, how they differ from other individuals, and how the[y] will impact human behavior. These two ideas are essentially a clinical approach vs . an approach based on emotions, behaviours, and basic, albeit trained, understanding of other folks emotions and behaviors.

The basic theories produced by Freud fantastic successors are based on some basic presumptions. Our patterns and emotions are powerfully affected by subconscious motives. Each of our behavior and feelings as adults (including psychological problems) are grounded in our childhood experiences. Almost all behavior has a cause (usually unconscious), possibly slips with the tongue. For that reason all behavior is determined. Character is made up of 3 parts (i. e. tripartite). The identification, ego and super-ego. Behavior is motivated simply by two instinctual drives: Weakness (the sex drive & lifestyle instinct) and Thanatos (the aggressive travel & loss of life instinct).

Both these drives range from “id. Regions of the subconscious mind (the id and superego) are in regular conflict together with the conscious portion of the mind (the ego). Character is molded as the drives are modified simply by different issues at several times in childhood (during psychosexual development). With an understanding of these presumptions Freud produced his theory of psychoanalysis, which is the basis for all psychiatric analysis, such as the Trait and Psychodynamic hypotheses. While they will share all their basic origins these attributes differ drastically in the data that they examine.
