Robert Frost, the author of, “Acquainted With all the Night” uses many literary devises to see the speaker’s attitude toward the city plus the speaker’s current life. Ice uses terminology such as diction and imagery, details, and metaphors to expose the speaker’s attitude of loneliness and depression.

Diction plays a significant role in helping the audience, or perhaps reader be familiar with attitude from the speaker. Words and phrases such as, “saddest”, “unwilling”, and “cry” are generally words used to describe thoughts of isolation or lose hope.

The speaker obviously provides something lurking on his head that he can not put behind him. He is careful and disappointed. The word “night” alone implies to many various other low words and phrases, such as, dark, cold, peaceful, or alone. The word “rain” symbolizes coldness, and the uncomfortableness that comes with being moist. Images also play a major role in understanding the attitude of the audio. The image of the rain falling down when the speaker fades, and that it is still generally there when he comes back shows that the speaker can not get away from his problem.

The fact that after the presenter stopped walking he also “stopped requirements of feet”, meaning that having been the only person around, once again leading returning to the idea that he’s mourning in the state of loneliness. These words and pictures help to show the speaker’s attitude.

There are many information that Frost added to give a person a better understanding of the speaker wonderful feelings. Thinking about the speaker, “outwalk[ing] the furthest metropolis light” demonstrates that he is out of bed in the middle of the night going for walks aimlessly trying to get his trouble lifted. This shows how disturbed and troubled the speaker is with this mystical problem going swimming. The line “I have seemed down the saddest lane” shows how the loudspeaker has sort of a woe-is-me attitude in which he feels that because it is happening to him it must be the worst. When the speaker says that the cry he observed was not to “call [him] back or say good-bye” is shows that he feels as if no-one cares about him. He seems hopeless and this there is no solution of the clutter he is in. These details all help in discovering the speaker’s attitude.

There are many metaphors that help one particular understand the frame of mind of the presenter. The night on its own is a metaphor for the speaker’s solitude. The rain is his problems. He goes out approaching get away from his problems nonetheless they will never leave him. The luminary clock is a metaphor for the moon that shines in the sky. The celestial body overhead is the just lit part of the night of the lumination, giving off a little bit of hope to individuals lost in the dreariness.

The attitude of loneliness, and hopelessness were clearly displayed when one particular looked at the diction and imagery, information, and metaphors in this composition. One could master many lessons form this poem about how precisely when problems come along, only trying to avoid them will not ever help.
