Once, one of the teachers told us that in order to ensure the success of the business, we must associate our potential products with the tradition of our target market. It is in fact better whenever we are able to generate our items become part of the customers’ tradition itself.

This is due to doing so may well not only convert to higher product sales upon the entry towards the market but , also, to a good volume of dedicated customers. The more you situation a product like it is area of the customers’ daily lives, the more they would utilize it, the more they might demand for this. This may be great news for the entrepreneurs to choose from but is it also great news for industry that they are looking to penetrate? Coca-cola is one of the corporations that I admire in terms of their particular marketing strategies. For me, they are one of many companies that best develop advertisements and promos that fit client interests.

We am often amazed how they manage to modify various conditions and situations and put Softdrink in the picture to become part of our lives. I actually commend these people for being therefore effective in making us truly feel what they want us to truly feel. On the contrary, I dislike these people for being capable to do so. Coca-cola’s ability to efficiently deliver communications through particular media as well gives these people the power to influence a number of them just in some moments. That saying, it would only take Pepsi or any other firm moments to change part of our lives in some way the way they need to devoid of us knowing.

The 1955s commercial in the company in the Philippines evidently showed us different things about the nation, the Filipinos, our culture, and how their product became element of us. It was reflected inside the advertisement the way the entry of foreign entities gradually changed our technique of doing issues. We started to be more detrimental in the eye of the foreigners; however , we’ve became rude for forgetting a part of our culture.

From having get together of villagers that is full of dances and accompanied by food and drinks to backyard gatherings wherein people just sit, talk and eat casse-cro?te and state of mind. From experiencing native Filipino sports just like Sepak Takraw to becoming a lover of western sports. Slowly our company is embracing the culture that wasn’t ours but was merely merely shot by the foreign entities that came to our nation.

A perfect depiction of this circumstance was a art work done by Antipas Delotavo entitled “Ang Itak sa Puso ni Mang Juan”. In his portrait, a Filipino old man is seen standing, together with his shoulders lowered, head slightly bowed straight down, and encounter looking unhappy. His good posture and motion resembles that of a man who may have just surrendered and no longer has the power to stay the battle. On the background, the famous company logo of Coca-cola can be seen.

It had been the butt of the company’s letter “C”, however , that made the painting more interesting. The butt of the page “C” was shaped like that of a dagger and was pointed towards the heart from the old man. The Coca-cola background shows the way the Western firms have dominated us in a manner that we are unacquainted with. They have become bigger and managed to sink into our terrain and countrymen without us noticing it immediately.

They will showed us just how better off our company is and will be with them operating in our lands as they explained in the commercial. The only difference now is that these foreign entities were able to restructure their strategies and sugar layered their method to all of us. The coming in of these overseas firms and other entities is a lot like a dagger to us, our culture, and our nation because though we could admit we are increasing economically speaking; we are placed in a situation that endangers the identity as a Filipino resident.

Unfortunately, we could almost quitting.
