Catcher in the Rye

Catcher in the Rye simply by Jerome Salinger is based on a 16 yr old young man. The storyline

takes place in New York where main character, a seventeen-year-old Holden Caulfield, has

many friends. He was kicked away ofPencey Prep, along with the two other universities before that, and

is definitely afraid to gohome and tell his parents. This individual wassupposed to leave Pencey Prep over a Wednesday

and handle out the semester andthen go home during Holiday break. Rather he leaves a few days and nights

earlier and ventures away into New YorkCity. The storyline focused around thepeople he meets plus the

places this individual goes. Over the story, Holden has many flashbacks, where he recalls thepast

and tries to sound right of the present using the expertise he gainedthrough his previous experiences.

He visits a large number of actual places such as, Central Park, The American Museum of NaturalHistory, and

the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Holden can be an adolescent son on the edge of adulthood, and he’s

justtrying for making sense of his life and where he stands in it.

The literary aspect characterization enjoyed a major role in this novel. In the tale there

weren’t that manywell-developed characters inside the story, although Holden had been so well produced

youfelt as if you couldnt need the different characters to make the storywork. When reading the

story, that feltas thought the reader had been part of the tale, hearing the sounds that Holdenheard, and

you experienced you were in the same place concurrently. One vit had explained, quot, A human

beinghad recently been created out of ink, paper plus the imagination., quot, He was thus very well curved

andthree-dimensional. Also, with him beingthe narrator, you could inform what having been thinking in

every moment. That made the othercharacters. The narrator would notify hisopinions of

them and then the reader may see all of them the same way Holden wasseeing these people, not as if you were

looking at these people through your individual eyes. The way in which Holden related situations and eventsto everyday

things in life made issues so much more clear to the reader and madeit much easier to realise why

he believed they was he performed on particular issues.

The concept of the Catcher In The Rye canbe stated in the subsequent statement, a lot more not

usually fair and folks arenot often fair, however you should try to help make the best of anything.

Holden understood quite a few people, and some ofthem he couldnt like, but he was constantly nice to them

and not tried to perform anythingto deliberately hurt all of them. Also, whenhe got kicked out of Pencey

Prepare, he didnt get a unfavorable attitude and turnagainst everybody. He only went on withhis life and

moved on carrying out other things. As well, while in New York City, this individual wasnt able to stay in the best

motelsbut this individual didnt grumble. He attempted tomake the very best of the scenario and remained in the motel

room very little aspossible. Holden is the kind of personthat may wish to be a lot of ones great

friend, except for his badlanguage and drunkard ness, because for the most part he previously

a very positiveoutlook on your life and people generally speaking. He attempted to see the good in people, even if

there wasnt any to beknown. The way the main figure was portrayed in this novel makes you

believethat the topic is mainly just make the best of with what you may have. This is true in the

pursuing statement, the happiest persons dont actually have the most of everything, nevertheless theyjust

make the best of everything.
