In elementary school, We expressed my personal creativity in so many techniques; finger piece of art, writing tales, coloring. It had been difficult when I got into midsection school and began choosing classes that have been strict in this way that all I did was stay there, publish notes, and regurgitate my own new knowledge the best I really could. It’s safe to say after i entered senior high school; I realized how much of my creative self I’d lost. I managed to get so comfortable with taking notes, browsing textbooks, and taking testing on scantron paper. My spouse and i took an innovative writingclass my freshman season in senior high school.

When I joined the class, I didn’t think I would be able to write creatively since I had just spent the very last three years publishing hypothesis and formal essays. Thankfully, there were a spark in my mind that lit up and produced a passion for creative writing. I created poetry pieces that I was very happy with and I decided to enter a single into a statewide writing competition. The composition was entitled Magnolia and it gained me second place. Albert Einstein once stated, “Everybody is actually a genus. But if you judge a fish by its ability to rise a tree, it will live its whole life believing it can be stupid. This quote has been in the spine of my mind throughout my personal years of schooling.

Everyone is different; people have different expertise, knowledge, and abilities. It is vital that students understand that just because they might not stand out in mathematics or science courses, they may be outstanding in something else. “Schools are meant to indicate the unfit”with poor degrees, remedial location, and other punishments”clearly enough that their colleagues will accept all of them as inferior and successfully bar all of them from the reproductive system sweepstakes. (Gatto, p. 4)

Although I may not certainly be a very very good test-taker, I think I have an important set of expertise that cannot and will certainly not be defined by results and marks.
